FasterPay Terms
Just Pay Limited (trading as Event UK) (“we”, “us”) Effective date: 25 September 2026
These Terms apply to every FasterPay request you make and supplement our Contractor Terms of Service, which continue to govern your use of the Just Pay Software. If the two conflict on anything relating to FasterPay, these Terms apply. Each request you confirm is a separate agreement, at the fee shown when you confirm it.
1. What FasterPay is
An optional early payment arrangement. At your request, we pay you from our own funds the amount due from the End Client for a completed and approved shift, less the FasterPay fee, before the standard payment date.
2. Eligibility
You must have an active account, the right to work in the UK, and accurate account and bank details. The shift must have been performed by you personally and approved by the End Client or treated as approved under our arrangements with the End Client. FasterPay is not available until that approval is given or treated as given. We may delay or refuse payment where we suspect fraud or inaccurate information.
3. Transfer of the payment right
When we pay you, your right to payment from the End Client for that booking transfers to us.
4. Cancellations and disputes
FasterPay relies on the End Client’s approval of your shift, including any approval treated as given under our arrangements with the End Client. If it is later found that the shift was not performed as agreed, or the End Client validly cancels, refunds or disputes it, you must repay the amount we paid you. We may deduct it from future payments due to you.
5. The fee
The fee is a percentage of the gross booking amount. If you are VAT registered, the fee is stated net of VAT and VAT will be added where applicable. If you are not VAT registered, the fee is inclusive of any VAT. Before you confirm, the App shows the fee, any VAT on it, and the amount you will receive. You may decline and be paid under the standard process at no extra charge.
6. Changes
We may change the fee, how it is calculated, or these Terms at any time, without prior notice or your agreement. Changes apply only to requests confirmed afterwards.
7. Withdrawal
We may suspend or withdraw FasterPay, for you or for all users, at any time and for any reason. Offering it once does not oblige us to offer it again. If we withdraw it after you confirm but before we pay, we will either complete the request or pay you in full under the standard process with no fee.
8. Timing and liability
We instruct our bank to make the payment as soon as you confirm your request, and funds usually arrive promptly. Once instructed, the timing depends on the banks involved and is outside our control, so we cannot guarantee when the funds will reach your account. Our liability for any request is limited to its fee, except where the law does not allow this.
